French-Italian conductor Charlotte Politi is currently the London Philharmonic Orchestra Fellow Conductor and Constant Lambert Associate with the Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. 

Named by the BBC Music Magazine as a “Rising Star”, she thrives in both the concert hall and the theatre. She has conducted several ballet productions with the Birmingham Royal Ballet (where she was the Conducting Fellow from 2021-2023) and made her debut with The Royal Ballet on a recent tour to Japan. She has also conducted the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra during her tenure as Assistant Conductor and will perform several concerts with the LPO during the 2023/24 season.

After completing her studies in Italy, Charlotte studied in Germany, at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, and in the United States, at the University of Michigan. She has also taken part in prestigious conducting masterclasses such as the Italian Opera Academy with Riccardo Muti, and Conductors’ Academy of the Tonhalle Zürich, under the guidance of Paavo Järvi.

She has conducted many orchestras in Europe, including the Baden-Baden Philharmonie, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Dresden and the Orchestra da Camera del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
